i tried listerine to ease the pain of shingles it seems to be working my pain as halfed in the last twelve hours mabe ill get some sleep tonight ill keep in touch to tell you if it realy works

My wife has suffered painfully with shingles for over a year.
She accidentally discovered that egg-white greatly eased her symptoms when some got onto an outbreak between her fingers, and an egg broke open in her hand.
Cannot explain this, but it does work for her !!

The virus can not live in a lysine rich environment.

Lysine daily (1000mg, 3x/day) and wean off as you get better.

Ginger, drink ginger juice thru the day. Ginger also good for stomach upset, cancer preventative and a great anti-inflammatory.

Vitamin C, 2000mg, 3x/day- immune booster -always good to up this when you are feeling ill in any way.

STAY AWAY from Aganine rich food (chocolate, nuts, white sugar, white flour, etc). The virus thrives in this environment.

Lots of green leafy veggies (which you should do always anyway!)

Vitamin E and Vitamin B12:
According to the Archives of Dermatology, you can reduce the pain of shingles by taking vitamin E right before your meals on a daily basis. A study published in the Journal Geriatrics suggests that vitamin B12 injections can lessen shingles pain.

I have had “shingles” in the same spot about 3 or 4 times a year and always use Campho Phenique which can be purchased at the drugstore at the first sign. It causes them to dry up and heal up very quickly although sometimes the pain starts before the lesions show up, I’m ready for them when they do.
