I have had gout for years, and tried just about everything without success.I reduced meat to, minimum once
a week, stopped alcohol altogether.I was having LOTS of fruit and vegetables and my gout was worsening.
Finally I have read something about Excessive fructose increasing uric acid.I experimented reducing my fruit
intake to 2 a day, and bingo within days I saw a dramatic improvement.Cherries are the only exception.
I eat a lot of them when in season, with no ill effects.

My dog just recently had that! I forget what it was called but it wasn't cancer. They did do a biopsy to make sure. It eventually shrunk away on its own. I think it cost me around 100 dollars. But you should get it checked just in case.

Try taking potassium citrate. Look it up on wikpedia....Helps eliminate uric acid from your kidneys...Hello

You can get it in pill form and works for me better than alopurinal.

There is a new drug out that is at least 50% better than alopurinal called uloric...Read about it, as it is more expensive than allopurinal. Alopurinal only works in about 35 % of the cases..
